Wade called Wendy Bisaro regarding a no interest loan to see what we can do to gain support.  Wendy said that she would also look into the Canadian Strategic Infrastructure fund and mentioned that should this be viable source of funding, The City would likely have it in their report which is due in January. She suggested we follow up with the City regarding this.

Wade also called and Spoke with Tom Beaulieu (cabinet).  They discussed the no interest loan and the concerns/merits of such a request.  Tom had many questions.  Tom suggested that they both digest the information and questions and that they should speak again soon.

We do have knowledge that Gord Van Tighem has sent a letter to Bob Mcleod with the Department of Finance regarding a loan for Northlands.  Hopefully we get a response when we hear back from the City at the end of January.
